 Free Initial Consult Session

Not all counselors are alike.  Each counselor comes equipped with different skills and sensibilities.  It is important to find the right counselor for your unique needs and sensibilities.  Teresa schedules a free 20 minute initial consult session to see if you will be able to work together well.

 

Scheduling Your Appointment

Appointments may vary in length and structure according to your needs.  You may need some quiet time after your appointment to process your experience.  It is important to keep this in mind when scheduling your session.

 

How Long is a Session?

A standard appointment is 50 minutes long.  Some appointments may take longer.  EMDR and art usually require more time to allow the process to unfold to its natural completion.  If you are interested in these types of sessions, be sure to notify Teresa and allow enough time in your schedule.

 

 Rates

Standard rates are listed below.  Payments are due at the time of service.  Cash and checks are accepted.  Sliding scale and no-fee services are available for some individuals.  Check with Teresa to see if you qualify.

80 minutes $110

 

Special Situations

Teresa has contracts to provide therapy services for certain special populations.  Check for eligibility.  Otherwise, Teresa is able to accept:

• Workers’ Compensation through Labor and Industries
• Crime Victims’ Compensation
• Some health insurance policies will reimburse for out of network providers.  Check with your insurance company first.

 

Cancellations and Rescheduling

Unexpected situations can arise and create a need to reschedule you session.  Your time is reserved just for you.  If you need to reschedule, please give as much notice as possible.  A minimum of 24 hours is necessary to avoid being charged for your session.
